Client
Thomas Corrinth is a graduate communications scientist from Essen, Germany. Versatile, interested, curious and people-oriented. Everything a …. journalist needs. No, not just a journalist, author, scientist, presenter, lecturer and much more.
Like many of my clients, he came to me with the request that he needed a modernized website. He got this and further discussions about focus, purpose and structure.
Visuality
Diversity of topics and services are outstanding competencies, for the designer it is a matter of finding a common ground and implementing it in a visually concise and unique way. The logo, the key visual, the choice of fabri and typeface focus on the statement that Thomas “communicates”, seriously, emphatically, scientifically, openly and curiously. The speech bubbles and the vibrancy bring the dialog into the picture, which seeks the overlaps and emphasizes the uniqueness. In the end, a multi-layered and versatile basis was created, which can be found on the website as the first product.
Website
On the one hand, the challenge was to depict the versatility. On the other hand, this is only possible if the purpose and focus of the web services are clear. Without this, there is no hierarchy, no structure and no purposeful design. Its users come from equally diverse areas and are looking for information about it because they have seen, read or heard about it. It was therefore important to give every visitor a quick choice to pursue their interests. We soon differentiated between topics and services or his publications and set up corresponding categories. In other words, purpose-driven.
