Karima Atwan is a doula, educational counsellor specialising in traumatic birth experiences and birth healing, and my wife. I was able to accompany her independence from the very beginning. This means that every creative step involves extensive, continuous and still ongoing counselling and exchange.
Visuality
The visual identity developed, including logo, key visual, imagery and much more, takes into account Karima’s empathetic, humorous way of working and her basic attitude of bonding-orientated, evolutionary togetherness between baby and mother or parents. Heart, soft gradients, two silhouettes of mother and baby gazing intimately at each other, the choice of font and other elements are based on this.
Products
In addition to flyers, small posters and other advertising materials, I maintain the design of the website and oversee the content structure.
