Escuela 86 is the state school for my children here in Uruguay. But it is also central for the neighborhood as a playground, meeting place, for children’s birthday parties and for the community as a whole. Parents regularly organize events to finance some of their wishes that are not financed by the state. Free flea markets and a big market once a year attract people every year and offer a wonderful day out. I am allowed to do the design for this.

Visuality

I have taken over the basic structure of the visuals from my predecessors and professionalized it so that I can play with the colors for recurring events. This wealth of variation simplifies the annual design and maintains the overall picture.

Products

Templates are created for distribution via Instagram and WhatsApp, as well as self-painted signs for the event that convey the visuality on site. This gives me the chance to work by hand again.
